Many times I have heard the expression “sculpture in time”. I don’t think I truly understood that until not making this, but rewatching it months later.

This is a video feedback loop that I “sculpted” in time, from nothing. It was a camera pointed back at itself, whose footage was “sculpted” using VSERPI and a korg nanokontrol 2 (by Andrei Jay)

So, this is a sculpture of moving images. It may exist on a 2 dimensional plane, in a single channel, as you are watching it, but I hope to one day incorporate this into a larger, hallucinatory / holographic installation I’ve been thinking of making.
