Entanglements (April 2026)

4/25/26 @ SEISMIC DOSSIER, Endicott NY.

Iterations of a multi-species, collaborative performance between the artist, the audience, a ‘network’ of plants, and the sensors that render their communicative systems legible.

4 arduino-based sensors; 2 biofeedback, 2 soil moisture, are connected to 4 plants. The data is streamed wirelessly to a laptop, where it is converted into MIDI, and then controls VCV Rack Synthesizers.

Ceiling-mounted webcam video is processed live in a frame-differencing MAX environment. Audience members are given a flashlight, and can influence visuals in harmony with the performer and plants.
