Zoneplates2024, digital animation

A zone plate is a device used to focus light or other things exhibiting wave character.


By step-sequencing and animating a digital zone plate with an increasing number of rings, and then with increasing focal length and decreasing no. of rings, a stroboscopic, hallucination-inducing effect can be witnessed.
